Dan and I met recenly to discuss using the Minimum Required Distributions from my KofC IRA to make several charitable donations. Dan came well prepar...ed and knowledgeable. We talked at length about my desires to make the charitable donationsl in the current year. We met again less that a week later to sign the necessary paperwork and begin the process. Dan Garrigan made me aware of a great tax saving product that the Knights of Columbus have. It involves tax sheltering IRA funds until later in life.... It will make my mandatory withdrawal at age 72 smaller thereby saving my tax burden while earning some interest. Dan has a wealth of information.
